How do I get Saved?

Beginning a new life in Christ Jesus!

Are you ready to find meaning in your life and finally lay hands on the answer to what's been missing? Then let's walk along the Romans Road together and ask some questions and make some observations about the reality of life. All that is needed is an open mind and a seeking heart.

The first question I'd like you to ask yourself is...

The Bible teaches us in Romans 3:10-12 "As it is writen, There is none righteous, no not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one."

You see, everyone of us is a sinner and because of that sin, we are cut off from God.

The next question we need to ask is...

Romans 3:23 teaches us, "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."

So the next logical question is:

The answer is clear in Romans 6:23. "For the wages of sin is death..."

This "death" is a spiritual death and equals eternal seperation from the God that created you. The very God that wants to love you, care for you, forgive you and bless you.

But you have to understand that...

"Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight..." Romans 3:20

No matter how capable you are or how hard you try, there is nothing that you can personally do to remove the penalty of a permanent death by yourself.

The blessing of God's love is extolled in Romans 5:8-9 "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him."

Romans 10:9 tells us, "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."

Do you believe that Jesus Christ alone can save you? Then pray now and ask Him to Save you!

"For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10:10

If you will accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, then pray this prayer or one similar to it with all your heart:

Dear Heavenly Father, I admit that I am a sinner and I know that the way I'm going I am on my way to hell. I know that I cannot save myself and I am putting all my faith in the blood that you shed for me on the cross to pay for my sins. I turn away from my sins and accept you as my Saviour and place all my trust in you to take me to heaven when my time here is done. I thank you for saving me. Amen.

"for whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."  Romans 10:13
